How to Trade Smart Money Concepts (FAQ)
How to trade a BULLISH FVG?
A Bullish FVG means institutional buyers pumped the price so fast that an empty gap was left behind. Market algorithms will eventually push the price back down to "fill" this gap.
Action: Place a Limit Buy (Long) order at the GAP TOP price. Put your Stop Loss just below the GAP BOTTOM.
How to trade a BEARISH FVG?
A Bearish FVG means whales aggressively dumped the asset, leaving a vacuum of sell orders. The market will naturally drift back up to retest this vacuum.
Action: Place a Limit Sell (Short) order at the GAP BOTTOM price. Put your Stop Loss just above the GAP TOP.
What does "Mitigated" mean?
An FVG is "Mitigated" when the price has already returned and touched the gap. Zynto's algorithm automatically filters out mitigated gaps. Every gap shown in the scanner is "Unmitigated" (Fresh), meaning the trap is still active and waiting to be triggered.
Which gaps are the strongest?
1. Higher Timeframes: A 4H or 1D gap is much stronger than a 15m gap.
2. Large Size: Gaps larger than 2% carry massive magnetic pull.
3. Fresh Gaps: Gaps with a lower "Age" (e.g., formed 2-5 candles ago) are highly likely to be filled in the current session.
